Talking To Yourself

by Pastor Michael Gant

The woman with an issue talked to herself. The bible gives us to understand in verse 21 that the woman said within herself, or in other words she spoke to her own heart words of faith that she would be healed. By speaking to herself, she shifted her faith into the that of miracles. The woman, although nameless, is remembered for the words of encouragement she spoke to herself and as a result received the miracle of wholeness.

Sometimes you have to talk to yourself and encourage yourself in the Lord just like David. In 1 Samuel 30:6 the bible reveals that David was greatly distressed due to the people speaking of stoning him, because the souls of all the people was grieved, every man for his sons and for his daughters. But inspite of those who spoke against him, David encouraged himself in the LORD his God. As a result David went after his enemy and retrieved that which had been stolen from him and his people. In vicitory the same people who spoke of stoning him, rejoice over his success.

He Should Have Never Made Me Cry

by Pastor Michael Gant

God is for you, but the devil desires to block everything that God has for you. Did you know that your tears are collected and literally held within a book? A book that only God himself examines and reads. When you cry, God is quick to come to your aid.

In 2 Chronicles 32:26 Hezekiah humbled himself, turned his face to the wall and cryied out unto God. He found grace and was granted more time to live even though he had sinned against God by allowing pride into his heart. 2 Chronicles 32:26

God is concerned about you and He is concerned about what concerns you. This season of your life may be filled with questions and tears, but remember according to Psalm 126:5 he who sow in tears, shall reap in joy.
